How long does each refill last?
Around 90 days under normal driving — earlier on the highest interval setting, longer on the gentlest. Your Type 01 will tell you when it's time, but most owners notice the natural fade and swap intuitively.
Can I switch scents mid-life, or do I need to finish one first?
Switch any time. Lift the partially-used refill out, store it sealed, and drop in a different one. Many owners rotate seasonally — Spectra in summer, Noir-V through autumn, Velora into winter. The bottle resumes where it left off when you swap back.
How do I know when to replace?
Three signals: the scent reads thinner than usual on the highest interval, the bottle visibly empties when held to light, or roughly 90 days have passed. There's no warning light — by design. The diffuser stays composed; the fade is gradual.
Can I buy a single refill, or only pairs?
Single refills, £50 each. The set you originally received included two as a starter — from here, you choose what you need. Many owners keep two on rotation, but it's entirely up to you.
Will refills work with future Type versions?
Type 01 refills are designed for Type 01. When the next generation launches, we'll communicate compatibility clearly — no surprises, no obsolescence. Anyone owning a Type 01 will be able to keep it running with current refills as long as the diffuser itself works.
Can I gift a refill to another owner?
Yes. At checkout, add a gift note and send to a different address. The packaging is brand-grade — refills arrive in the same considered presentation as the original set.
What's your return policy on refills?
Unopened refills can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. For sealed bottles you've opened, we can't accept returns for hygiene reasons — but if there's a quality issue with what you received, contact us directly and we'll make it right.
