Designed to be effortless. Set up takes less than one minute.

 

Before You Start

• Ensure you have fully charged the diffuser 
• Make sure the diffuser is powered OFF
• Place it on a flat surface
• Handle upright if it already contains oil

Step 1: Open the Diffuser

Unscrew the bottom metal cover of the diffuser.

⚠️ Important

If the diffuser already contains oil, do not tilt or turn it upside down to avoid spills.

Step 2: Remove the Bottle (If Replacing)

• Turn the existing bottle counter-clockwise to remove it
• Keep the diffuser upright at all times

Step 3: Prepare Your Fragrance Bottle

• Remove the bottle cap
• Insert the cotton core fully into the bottle
• NOTE: If any fragrance oil comes into contact with your skin, simply rinse it off

Ensure it is seated properly for clean diffusion.

Step 4: Install the Bottle

• Attach the bottle to the diffuser
• Turn clockwise until it is securely fastened

Do not over-tighten.

Step 5: Close the Diffuser

Screw the metal base back on gently until flush.

Turning the Diffuser ON & OFF

Power ON

• Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds
• Indicator lights will illuminate briefly
• The diffuser will start using the last saved settings

Power OFF

• Press and hold the power button again for 3 seconds
• Lights will turn off, confirming shutdown

 

Smart Auto Start & Stop (Hands-Free)

The Type 01 is equipped with motion sensing.

• When your car is moving or running, diffusion is active
• If no movement is detected for 200 seconds, the diffuser enters Standby Mode
• When driving resumes, diffusion automatically restarts using your last settings

No need to touch anything.

Scent Gears & Diffusion Settings

You can control how often fragrance is released.

Gear Levels

• 1 Light → Every 20 seconds (stronger presence)
• 2 Lights → Every 90 seconds (balanced)
• 3 Lights → Every 180 seconds (subtle, refined)

Modes Explained

Normal Mode (Blue Light)

• You manually select your preferred gear
• Ideal for consistent control

Auto Mode (Purple Light)

• The diffuser automatically switches to the next gear after 6 sprays
• Ideal for long drives and fragrance conservation

 

Button Controls (Quick Reference)

• Press once → View current gear
• Press again → Switch to the next gear
• Double press → Change between Normal and Auto Mode

 

Placement Recommendation

Place the diffuser securely in your rear cup holder for optimal airflow and stability.

Alternatively you can place your diffuser on any flat surface in the car, using the non slip mat provided 

Care Tips

• Protect Your Interior: In the event of a spill on car surfaces (plastics, leather, or console), wipe it up immediately to prevent discoloration.

• Temperature Control: To preserve the quality of the fragrance and the battery life, avoid leaving the diffuser in direct sunlight or extreme heat for prolonged periods.

• Safety First: Keep the diffuser and fragrance bottles out of reach of children and pets.

• Maintenance: Wipe the exterior with a dry microfiber cloth. Use VIANO fragrance refill pods only.
